From November to March the B.O.R. serves the region as an ice rink. Home to the Spaulding High School hockey teams as well Barre Youth Hockey and the Barre Figure Skating Club. The facility hosts public skate, hockey tournaments, the figure skating show as well as being available to rent out for private skating events.
Once the ice season is completed, the B.O.R. provides over 21,000 square feet of open space all on one level. Many trade shows and events have been held here from the Farm Show, Caws 4 Paws, roller derby, and the highway show.
Approximately 800 people can comfortably view your event frm the bleachers, with heat available. There is seperate heated viewing and seating area and up to date rest rooms.
